Awesome.........
Dave
Drove a mile to the grocery store and worried the whole way that the serpentine belt or the A/C pulley would break - such a racket. Yesterday the A/C pump and clutch arrived, along with a new belt and accumulator/dryer. Just waiting on the metal hose so I can make the appointment to have the repair done.
Drove it over to my BILs on the Shore to give him his birthday present.
My arm's a bit sore...
Yeah, yeah....you all know about my injury. That's the longest I've been in a car, which isn't comfortable, since.
Thanks for the info. Wish I had known that before ordering after market.Jim: just a precautionary note, aftermarket low side orifice line is known to not have the correct length such that it is not flushed on the P/S side, right above the wheel well) of the engine bay. I had to zip tie it to pull it down wards so it cleared the pneumatic hood strut.
Dang, I almost ordered one of those too, but no one mentioned it in my topic about this A/C problem. I'll check Napa, but they are pretty expensive here.If you haven't done the belt tensioner yet, I'd get one of those too. Locally you should be able to get Dayco or Gates, either is fine. Gates comes with a new bolt, Dayco one doesn't.
