Drove a mile to the grocery store and worried the whole way that the serpentine belt or the A/C pulley would break - such a racket. Yesterday the A/C pump and clutch arrived, along with a new belt and accumulator/dryer. Just waiting on the metal hose so I can make the appointment to have the repair done.

Jim: just a precautionary note, aftermarket low side orifice line is known to not have the correct length such that it is not flushed on the P/S side, right above the wheel well) of the engine bay. I had to zip tie it to pull it down wards so it cleared the pneumatic hood strut.

If you haven't done the belt tensioner yet, I'd get one of those too. Locally you should be able to get Dayco or Gates, either is fine. Gates comes with a new bolt, Dayco one doesn't.

I wheeled it. No really good pictures...but we hung out by a lake in the middle of the woods where all you could hear were the bull frogs. Absolutely awesome.

Yeah, yeah....you all know about my injury. That's the longest I've been in a car, which isn't comfortable, since.

Glad you're healing and getting around. Isn't that a huge traffic jam at the Bay bridge on a friday?

Just installed the PML Transmission Pan!
Unfortunatelly, i haven't ordered it with the Temperature Sensor Machining option, as i thought i could obtain this info without gauge, through the OBD. However i haven't had luck with that so far with Torque...

Thanks for the info. Wish I had known that before ordering after market.

Dang, I almost ordered one of those too, but no one mentioned it in my topic about this A/C problem. :( I'll check Napa, but they are pretty expensive here.

You can't share photos from your computer like that. Use the upload feature, or use those IMG tags to surround an image address on the Internet (not Photobucket or any of those "free" image hosts). Like this:

[noparse]
You must be registered for see images
[/noparse]

Which will display like this:

And when you save pictures, don't use spaces in them. Use dashes or underscores, but not spaces or other characters.
