Fired up the heat in the garage today and started a very good overall checkup of the 03.
She's going to have a chance to move me again it seems.
The 04 moved me 4 times, the 03 this will be her 2nd time .
I love moving ! :happy175::emotions34:

Totaled it..................................:favorites68::favorites68::favorites68::favorites68:

Didn't even feel the hit but tore off the whole front end of a '11 honda CRV,everything from the passenger side mirror forward to the drivers headlight was ripped off by the mighty ARB and L/F MT/R K tire and flung 50',the engine landed about 15' away with the trans.

Sad day but the Old KJ still was able to make it back the mile home,does not turn left very well.Faithful to the very end and did not even leak one drop of fluid.

Oh yeah the other idiot is okay,guess he will learn to yield to oncoming traffic,doubt it as he was high as a kite and now in jail.

Glad you're ok. But the KJ is seriously done? Bummer. :(

Yeah I'm pretty sure they will total it,the whole front end is shifted to the right and up.The ARB did a fantastic job,when I say I did not feel the hit I mean I didn't feel it and I tore almost the whole front end of the CRV completely off.

Had the green at the intersection so I was at the speed limit(35mph) and he tried to beat me turning left.Didn't even have time to hit the brakes.

pics of the other guy's car.
and will you let them take it if they total it? no chance you'd rebuild it?

and all is not well with the mirrors. they heat, they move, but the driver's side glass vibrates even though the housing is tight to the vehicle, and it has to be tilted nearly all the way up to be pointed in the right direction. going to look things over in the morning but I suspect I'm contacting the vendor for a replacement.

No camera,wish I did that CRV was F'ed up.I'll try and post pics of the KJ Sunday.

If it is a total loss I'll take my tools out and call it a done deal.Time to move on I guess,she was the best vehicle I have ever owned and never once left me stranded.If I do buy it back I would need a buyer to take it "as is" for a parts vehicle.

Oh, crap...I forgot. A ******* in NJ couldn't stay between the lines and kicked up a pretty good stone Monday afternoon. I have a chip to look at lowish on the driver's side...with all the salt, I forgot :favorites68:

This was a new windshield in June, btw.

Those places that "patch" chips can't make em invisible, but I've never known of one growing after having it repaired.

I skeptically used the Rain-x kit on my daughter's Subaru. Chip in a recently replaced windshield too. Chestnut from about 60 ft up took out the OE windshield and stone chipped the fresh one. Kit worked great and can't tell unless you know exactly where to look. Tried it on an older chip in the wife's Sienna and it didn't work so well. I think you have to get them when they are fresh.

Aren't those lines in the road just a suggestion? :happy175:

The moron drove 2' over the left-hand solid white line 8 times before I could get around them. Missed the jersey wall by THAT MUCH every time. Pretty sure they were texting.

Next week is supposed to be quite a bit warmer, especially Tuesday, so I'll get the Jeep washed and pick up a kit.

I used the rain x kit on the lr3 for a bullseye about the size of a dollar coin and it’s invisible, I’d bet my right nut no one can find it, I couldn’t
