Drove it today for the first time since Friday. Only 5F and she let out a pretty good chirp as she fired up. Guess some belt slippage. Completely quiet otherwise. Guess it's time for the oil pressure sender to be changed. This morning all was good (5F), sat all day in the parking garage at work and oil light on all the way home (about 20F). No funny noises and oil level fine. Did this off and on last winter too without any pattern. Did it a couple weeks ago when leaving in the AM and light shut off after a restart. Anyone else get this?

Checking into a couple of $500 non-runner KJs today - local too. Not sure if they're actual renegades or not, but both look it from the ads.

Finally the car wash I use, well it's right next door to work, finally installed a auto wash that my KJ can fit in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even advertises for modded vehicles(Jeeps and such),oversized vehicles, and vehicles with ski/bike racks.

Now I only have to freeze my butt off for 5mins washing the underneath then back into the heat for the rest.
How does it handle gumbo and swamp black mud? Money's worth?

Don't be afraid to pull on this. The backbone is strong.

I highly suggest getting a snatch block or two and 3 or 4 shackles. Synthetic is the way to go now. So much easier to use. I use a 3/8" UltRanger Rope and soft shackle, 8' TGL treesaver, and I believe my one snatch block is a smittybuilt the other an UltRanger.

Checked the PS fluid. Looked fine, but the pump howls like a banshee until the Jeep warms up. Another thing to check into once the weather gets above 0.:emotions34:

I was going to do a new bumper or rebuild the engine. You know, something kind of cool.

I bought a new suction cup mount for my Garmin instead. No half-measures for me! :winner_third_h4h:

It was pretty cold on the garage floor yesterday, but I installed a new OEM rear upper control arm. Was getting that rear rattle just 6 months or so after installing an aftermarket rear upper control arm. The one I removed still seemed "tight", but the rattle is gone so hopefully that was the issue.

BTW I'm loving the studded Grabber AT2's. Really liked the looks and capabilities of the Cooper Discoverer STT PRO's, but they rode very hard and loud. Was planning to go with a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's for my Summer tires, but seriously considering another set of Grabbers instead(non-studded).
