Here’s a new one for me:
When you put my 02 in reverse from a parked position the rear end squats. Anyone experienced that before?

Several different vehicles do this or feel like they are
Just think about it for a bit, it all makes sense

It makes me think the suspension is loading from the force of the driveshaft while the brakes are applied pushing it down. I only bring it up because it just starting happening recently

Changed out the right front hub bearing assembly. I just bought this 2006 KJ from a local dealer and got it cheap because he thought the front diff was toast from the noise. I knew on the test drive it was the bearing, lol. Got it changed today and quiet as can be.

All the same mods to the 02
But I removed the fiberglass running boards and welded up new rocker panels

Still have to replace the passenger fog. The screws are so bad I don’t want to reuse them. Sourcing a replacement still have not found anything

The paint. Was the driest paint I’ve ever dealt with. Just the oils from my hand was leaving it looking better

Took 3 stages of chemical guys to get it back to looking wet.
Clay bar/Polish/butter smooth wax/ jet seal. Lots of time with the DA

Kinda regretting not getting a 5th tire like I did for my 02
I have 4 new tires again and if I don’t sell them I’ll keep one and swap it over to the 03’s spare.

Opinion. Plastic dip the wheels black like the 02?

Got her back from the mechanic. The right side of my engine bay is sparkling with the brass from the thermostat housing they had to cut off to get the seized bolt out.

Turns out only 1-2 threads of the housing bolt had pretty much bonded with the aluminum of the engine, and fought the whole way out. Mechanic ran a tap through to clean it, and she's back up and running w/new water pump, thermostat and thermostat housing + coolant. Drove my Boss's Prius for a day, and was so glad to be back in a real vehicle.

I went on the Jeep Liberty facebook page. Oh boy there is some bad information getting around on there!

Can only imagine....
Most common thing I hear are about my lift. It’s not a spacer kit or “leveling” kit. Next thing they say isnwell it works fine on their truck....

They only know 250,000 mile springs and shocks are still doing great with spacer lift

Must be a truck thing. Maybe they used those kits more commonly

No its an idiot thing , not a truck thing
MOST have never owned a 4X4, most have never even done a lift before, but they know more than the rest of the world on whats best for lifting
40 plus years of experience to them is a joke. They just know that if their springs are sagging an inch, and you install a 2.5 spacer lift you will then be 3 inches higher than stock. And bouncing,....oh that is how they are suppose to ride, worn out shocks would never cause that
