given the fact I found the MASSIVE amount of play between the passenger axle and intermediate shaft, and the fact that the problem has been slowly getting worse over time, I'm going to go with that being the cause.

I sadly have periodic experience with tires going square from sitting; this has been such a crappy year for weather that the neon sat for most of it.

Rear lower control arms,....no no alignment needed
UNLESS they were way worn out, last time was aligned and has it off, but should not be

Thanks.

I've had the worse luck. One bolt by the shocks is seized. Even with a breaker bar and scissor jack, it still didn't break free.

Not even half way done.

Rotated tires and got the bushing back on for the lever at the tcase. Tried the 4wd and PT and FT were fine but yikes thought I had it stuck in 4Lo. Guess I haven't been there is a while...

Now the driver side one is seized.
Taking a break while I let more PB blaster soak in and until my ears stop ringing. X.x

Some time later, finally got it out.

Those lca's look lovely.

I took mine off-road today, just a little. I got to use 4lo and 4 hi, ruts, off camber, ups and downs, felt good, it's been a while. Jeep is happy, and I'm happy.

quick question:

Can I jack the jeep from the pumpkin only and torque the rear suspension parts with bushings to spec?

In my head, that's should be the same as having the vehicle on its normal ride height.
True?

I agree. That's what I'd do but also put jack stands under the rear axle shaft tubes for safety.
