Yep, first rear ones went at like 130k, 3 years ago.
Fronts are still good.

All my lights came back on today. I actually prefer how it drives without the traction control and ABS... It seems to handle just as well as my XJ.

What style Moabs?

Moabs will cure what ails ya...seriously, sorry to hear about your loss. Let us know if we can help in anyway.

They are the smooth style. They even still have the manufacture date. I saw it when we were swapping tires. I'll sell my wheels along with the tires that came on the MOAB´s. One of the tires was a spare and never used. The other four have 50% tread left on em. They look similar to Duratracs.

Post them up....love Moabs. Still look back at my KJ every time I park just to look at them.

Same here, love the looks of Moabs
I remember the first set I saw on a black KJ back in 05 , think it was a post on LOST. Knew then and there had to have a set, or two :icon_razz:
Like the smooths better than the stepsides though
First set ( 5 ) that I bought I paid 100 for with tires, sold the tires for 130 , great deal :happy175:

I didn't know there were smooth ones or stepsides until I got mine and you pointed out I got the stepsides. :happy175:

I like both...I think the step sides have an extra "dimensionality" to them but the smooth ones look so clean and crisp. As long as I have 5 matching ones, I'm good.

500 miles of Christmas running today
back and forth picking up my son and taking him back home
75-80 on the big road, no shakes, rattles, burps, fa*ts, hiccups, nothing but smooth cruising
Was fun playing with a JK though for a while, he never stood a chance
( all you have to do is say something like" so when are you going to buy a real Jeep at the C-mart and you're getting ready to hit the Interstate)

450 mile round trip up north and back. Over the river and through the woods, so to speak. Noticed my "50+mph rumble" was only noticeable above 75mph now. I didn't do anything except run a couple days in full time last weekend before the trip. :Insane:

Everything else was awesome.

I'm enjoying this winter storm we're getting, so far. We got about 6" of powder last night, and it's been a blast. The Liberty is doing better than what my XJ does, I think.

Right tires and good driving skills KJs do a lot better IMO ( and that comes from previously owning 3 XJs )

My KJ is also better in the snow than my XJ...guessing because it probably weighs 1500lbs more and doesn't have the pep of the XJ.

Stopped by the hobby shop on base and took the spacers off. MOAB´s look much better with them off even though the guys at work loved how it looked with the spacers on. They aren't the ones paying my maintenance bills. I'll take pics tomorrow after the rain passes.

Throttle back a sec Tom.:happy175: I had them on there when the stock wheels were on so it wouldn't rub the sway bar for state inspection. I only put the MOAB's on there with them for s*ts and giggles. It looks superb the way it sits now....without them.

The wet season has arrived where I live. Water water everywhere! I drove through some yesterday (nothing deep) and now the lights on the dash don't come on when I engage 4wd.
Water must have damaged the transfer case position switch. I only just replaced it too!

Just went for a drive and the 4wd indicator light is working again! I guess it dried out over night or it was just wigging out yesterday....
