pulled the center console/cover out yesterday, cleaned everything up, did the "manual adjustment of the e brake lever and tomorrow i'm getting an inspection done. really exciting stuff.

How do you manually adjust the e brake? Mine is ridiculously loose. Barely holds the Jeep most times. I certainly wouldn't trust it on a steep hill.

How is that angle better or different? It looks to be the same just with a cutout for extreme angles of extension or compression of the suspension. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'd like to know.

Regardless though, I'd like to pick a set pretty soon here as the thickness of that mounting plate will certainly strengthen up that area of the UCA.

There was a comparison picture on fb and here. I didn't compare it myself and I haven't put them on yet so idk what real world difference is.

There might not even be a difference for all we know, just looked better in general compared to moog. I liked how it looked a lot thicker on where it mounts too.

Plus, I had some extra $$ to spend.

Damn, you just made up my mind on that one. About to buy a pair of those, might as well do them when I replace my moog lbj's.

Totally different than stock ones
More travel from stock , meaning they can flex more / more angles than stock,
rebuildable, stronger and just plain cooler looking

Thanks for the response Tom... I was refering to either Napa or Moog Ball joints that are already used on the JBA UCAs, not the stock jeep UCAs.

Being rebuildable is definitely a difference as well as the mounting plate thickness... But is the angle different than either of the above mentioned ball joints?

Drove in the pouring rain all day to get my windshield replaced and a strut mount was waiting for me when I got home. It was a good day.

Pretty sure I have a new clock spring and a Metra Axxess ASWC-1 sitting in the mailbox. I'll be heading out to the garage shortly to swap out my 3 pin clock spring for the new 6 pin and install the Steering Wheel Control Interface . Added the rear audio controls to the steering wheel during the week now I just need to get them working with my Kenwood head unit. Also planning to add a daytime headlight relay and a Satellite Radio tuner while I'm at it.

How much did that set you back? And keep us posted on how they perform. I'm considering a set of dedicated snows for mine as well, and I don't mind spending the extra $ if the performance is there.
