Used the Jeep and a 12ft heavy chain to pull the remains of stumps/roots from 4 yew bushes this weekend... Hope I didn't hurt anything on the KJ, some of the pulling was a bit jerky, and a lot of strain.

My old neighbor owns a few mobile cranes and he's a smart guy, but he needed to remove the bushes the people he bought the house from decades ago to install a fence and decided his mobile crane was a great idea. It was well within the weight range of the crane, but the problem was the recoil and bouncing from when the roots finally broke free of the soil. Sadly he couldn't just hook a chain up to the cranes bumper and put the thing in gear to pull them out b/c the crane was so big and his yard wasn;t.

Ordered a new red fob shell for my mechanic/spare set of keys. It comes with a glow in the dark button pad, so I think I'll add that to my daily use fob

Well sh*".This month I've done hubs, rotors, pads, UCA ball joints, rear boomerang, sway bar bushings and end links, and waiting for my graphics guy to get back from vacation for my Firefly decals. Friggin hands are sore. And I need air tools.

So far haven't had to grind or cut anything, and some of what I'm replacing has been done before, but I've had it for over 100k now, and what was once new is worn. Gotta pay a visit to the pawn shop to cover tool rental today. Good thing is after this I'm done for a while. Checklist has shrunk to just an alignment, which is less than the tool rental at least. Also I need your neighbors. One is a quarter mile over (and my father in law, which has it's own issues), the other are confed flag waving characters. On the subject of air tools, the shop here has a 3gallon for 50 bucks with a free air ratchet, think ill take it.

Booked the 07 into a body shop to replace the rocker panels.
Got the stamped OEM style rockers with all the holes for the plastic covers.
And cleaned up and painted the boat trailer. Now if would just stop raining.

Lbjs done! No cutting or grinding, though I needed a cheater on my cheater. Smooth and silent, doesn't track left or right, and no clunking at stops. Much safer at 75 now, great when everyone's doing 85 up the highway
