If you end up going that route and like a finer texture of bedliner, raptor in rattle can worked nice on my frankenstein wrangler bumper project. I just used a standard rattle can that they had in the store, but they sell a 2k in rattle can which would be even more durable.

I'm thinking of filling the holes I had to drill and doing it on the grille as well, I drilled them for temp turn signals when I was working on the bumper.
Probably the best looking non kj specific bumber job I've seen. You plan to move the fog lights? Too bad you'll ha r to remove it anytime the grill needs to come off, but really how often is that?

Thanks, I added the fog lights in the grille and in the bumper, ran a separate relay and power wires for them that will be big enough if I decide to upgrade to some higher power ones later on. Not sure if I'll keep them all, but had them and figured I'd see what it looked like.

I welded flange nuts inside square tubing off the winch plate that runs through the unibodys frame rails. I got lucky and can unbolt it from the bottom and slide it forward some when I have to remove the grill.

I have a skid plate that eventually will tie in from the bottom of the winch plate to the engine cradle to help add some rigidity.

I got the passenger side lower ball joint installed and soaked the UCA bolts with penetrating oil so I can hopefully replace those tomorrow
I ended up cutting one of the bolts out. It had rusted to the inside of the uca. Not fun

Finished with the replacement of the Serpentine Belt and Tensioner Assembly!

Six months ago I got the Jeep Agents to replace the Timing belt as I felt that it was due for replacement and could not afford to have it snap on me!
The Agents could not find a Timing Belt so I looked at the number they were trying to obtain and supplied them with 2 extra Part Numbers which worked out!

At the time I asked them to also replace the Serpentine Belt and to check all of the Pulleys and replace if needed.

Ran fine for six months then "Bang" as I was about to enter the Main Gate of the Complex I live in....steering got extremely tight but I was able to maneuver the Jeep into my Lock-up Garage....sure enough the Serpentine belt had snapped!

The Idler Pulley on the Left-side of the Jeep had seized solid but the other Pulleys and the Tensioner seemed OK.
The Agents supplied me with a new Belt but said that new Pulleys were totally un-available!

So I had to drill out the Idler Pulleys and Tensioner Pulleys and replaced the Bearings with good bearings and used 5mm High Tensile bolts and nuts with "Locktight" to keep them in place....not ideal but I cannot find a USA supplier of Jeep Spares who could ship a new Tensioner Assembly and Idler pulleys to me in South Africa....and the prices were horrific as our currency compared to the USA $ is extremely weak.

So I re-tensioned the Tensioner, fitted my modified pulleys and started it up for a few minutes.....I was not happy with the tracking of the belt on the Tensioner Pulley so I ordered a new Tensioner assembly from the Agents...at a hectic price!

Have just finished the installation...with Fan and Shroud in place but I have skinny arms and small hands so managed in the end.

Taken it for short test drives and it seems fine but I really would like to import 2 new Idler Pulleys from the USA for replacement!;)

Did you make sure to turn on your light bar whilst at the Mall ? LOL
I was up in Columbus ( Ohio ) to visit my son and noticed everywhere we went ( middle of the day and sunny ) all of these Wranglers had the light bars on
Maybe just a Columbus thing ( hard to tell )
OH and the Bro Trucks as well
felt out of place LOL

Been striping the interior for the last couple days to swap it out. While its gutted, will run cables for new sound system and also front and rear lighting. Also finally installed the JBA uppers but putting all new front end components on also, just waiting on parts.

Do you have the optional computer? I need to see how that mounts if I could get a picture while it’s all stripped

Used “iron remover” (Adam’s Polishes one) for first time over the weekend. Applied per directions after washing the car. Def got more of the purple ‘activation’ spots on our white car (albeit prbly easier to see) but I guess it worked here too haha. No I didn’t clay or wax after, just detail spray.

Filled the tank finally. $64 and 20+ gallons worth into the Wrangler. Light was on almost all the way home. It's 98% fresh now. lol

Found an 8.25 rear axle for the xj today 29 spline!! 35s and locker along with 4.56 gears are soon to follow..also got some 3in lift leaf springs the ones on there are shot to hell..XJ is gonna be back to her former glory

I miss my XJ’s so much. The Liberty definitely has better road manners, and mine’s been better for winter roads than my previous Cherokees, but I also went from an old every option Laredo XJ to a plain Sport KJ…

Not much new on the Liberty. I’ve just been driving to and from work. It’ll be needing tires, soon.
