Being able to adjust the compression and rebound separably on them and tune in whatever ride you wanted is going to be great for sure .

Would love to show up at your place and go through a suspension tuning - I'm looking for that "something" to get the Libby right where I want it. An afternoon at Mudd's Garage will be just the ticket, yes?

Picked up the 'black' Jeep cargo liner from the dealership. It's gray, like I thought it would be. Parts guy was all apologetic about how it was, "Much lighter than I thought". Nope, it's slate, it matches the slate interior. Slate is not black, even though he tried to tell me it was. :happy175:

Also put on the new glass lift struts using the part numbers I got from profdlp. Oh man, these Monroe struts work great vs the Autozone ones. For one, it doesn't feel like closing the glass requires glass-breaking force. Best of all, when I pop the glass, it opens on it's own now!

There is a long chain of recommendations for the Monroe's going way back before me. I was probably about the 50th person in line to like those. Glad to pass along the tip, though. :favorites13:

Just always remember *utozone is a good place to buy air freshners and auto wax, little else

Drove from Orlando to Clarksville TN no issues with it period this time. Must have fixed the issue when I got into Ocala last week.

Tell me about it! Got home from NEPA about 4PM and had some squalls between Hazleton and Hegins. Thought that would be the extent of it and then just as it got dark here I look out and :favorites68:.

Just got around to reading some of your recent related posts and saw the dilemma. Bummer! So I guess not much diameter to be gained anyway. I always measure right at the butterfly. That seems to be the smallest point, as was mentioned it tapers. I swapped my stock TB on my Ranger with an aftermarket BBK and did gain about a 1/4 inch (6-7mm). Nothing noticeable in performance. What did it for my Ranger was the SCT tuner and the added degrees of timing, changed shift points etc. Very noticeable but probably still not as spunky as my KJ. Maybe someday we'll be able to do that with the KJ but not looking good.

Cool little trailer!
Any plans to shorten the tongue? It looks pretty long and could cause problems in rough terrain (approach/departure angles)... Looks good though!

Porting is increasing (enlarging) the diameter of an opening, and/or reshaping it. The process is also used to modify the intake and exhaust passages (ports) to increase flow, or make flow more efficient.

Used to do it a lot of Intakes and heads, for example there would be a mismatch between the two so would clean out, smooth out the extra metal to have a easier flow of air and gas. Used to spend many a night in the shop matching everything up.

How many mm was it before? You may need to put wheelie bars on the Jeep now. :gr_grin:

It's a 65mm opening at the rear I didn't really check it before starting I want to say 62mm.
I just started grinding till I got it where I wanted it. I think fastman bores his out to 65mm but if I'm not mistaking his are CNC machined. I didn't want to take it any further by hand, it would be to easy to mess up.
The 4,7 was actually easier to get larger. 67.5 intake side 68 exit.
