Got my replacement genuine Mopar hose clamps for the upper radiator hose, and boy do they look dinky. I think they are the right ones (the width is correct) but it's going to take some squeezing to open them up enough to slip over the hose. I guess that means they are less likely to come loose, though. :)

Loving the snow but did nothing to my Jeep today other than to drive it to work then to take my daughter to look at a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition. She bought it and is tickled pink. So now I have 3 Jeeps to maintain.

This Grand needs brakes, the O2 sensors fixed (Codes P0031,P0051 and P0136), the cruise won't set (figuring that is a vacuum line), drivers mirror and passenger rear window doesn't open. Sounds like a lot typing it but I don't think it will be much to fix.

Took my stepdaughter to work, got coffee, filled up the gas tank, bought new wiper blades and installed them.

Oh, what movie did you not see? (naughty)

Well, we took three teenagers so Mom & Dad sat out in lawn chairs and we watched "Insurgent" and "The Duff"....it was a beautiful night and although the movies were kinda "teen-centric" ("teenesque" ?) we had a GREAT time!

For you drive-in aficianados, that is our very own Admiral-Twin Drive-In open since 1951 and as much responsible for maintaining the population of NE Okla as candy, flowers, and liquor....

Fiddled with the blend door actuator motor. Could just see and touch it behind the upper left side of the glovebox opening. The connector is right there too. Not even a slight movement when temp is adjusted. Motor must be completely dead. On the up side, even though there are still a few inches of snow on the ground the temp is around 55. I found out the AC works fine so I think this just became a fall project! Still poop but happy poop. :dancingpoop:

Changed out the front wheel bearings, not a bad job, except for the moron at DC that decided the bolts that hold the bearing in should be something different than the 12 point bolt that everyone else uses :favorites68: Had to make a trip to the parts store to get the "special" torx socket to remove them.
Then I pulled apart the rear wheels to see what that noise I hear sometimes is. Left side came apart pretty easy, no problems with parking brake shoes, I did notice a bit of a wheel seal leak.
Right side was another story, beat the heck out of the rotor, no budge! Finally had to get out the hot wrench, and even then it was a struggle. Again, park brake shoes looked OK, but I got a little up and down motion on the wheel bearing, and a bit of a wheel seal leak on that side too.
Also noticed the brake pad sliders were very tight, so I'll get them and replace when I do the wheel bearings and seals.
Pinion seal also leaking, and I know the rear u-joint has some slight play, so I'll be working on the rear real soon.
Tomorrow I plan to install the new power steering pressure hose.

It's a chauffeur Jeep since the back seat is more luxurious than the front. :happy175:

Filled her up with more window washer fluid, picked up the many quartz of ATF+4 fluid and gear oil from Wally.
Went to HF to pick up a cheap air compressor to make a vacuum pump.

Got home to watch the Wildcats beat the Buckeyes.
