Why do my fuses always blow at night?
Unplugging the dash cam power, from front accessory, can short it somehow.
New fuse just installed, works again.
Just threw a 20 amp pack in glove box now LOL..

the_dealer: do you know what active sub would fit under the rear seats, even when folded down?
None, my amp just barely clears with the seat folded down (around 2.25" thick). Even with the carpet cut out in that area you may be able to fit it, but you're not going to be able to get the box volume the sub needs. Mount your amps under the seat and build(or have built) a box for the rear. I'm running around 3k to my 10", but a single 8" on about 500w in a ported box will be plenty for most people. I own an audio shop, so I kinda go bigger than most would.

Here's my first setup in my KJ. Single American Bass XD8" ($75 new) on an alpine 500w mono($150 new)

Two sundown X-8 on 3200w. Tons of output, smaller than a single 12 ported.

Mine does it when I plug my laptop in via small power inverter.

Unfortunately, can't utilize trunk space for that.

I remember someone was trying to get some speakers in thr tailgate. I have a single 12" sealed box. With the cargo shelf being such a tight fit almost acts like a ported setup.

My hood was oxidized and nasty, finally tossed this on the center. I had enough to do the whole hood, but my big giant brain thought i'd just do just the center panel.

*Finally got my spare mounted on the extra Moab
(bought a almost new tire same as I'm running and been sitting here just waiting)
**Then moved my license plate up on the spare
***Pulled the Renegade roof rack off to repair it.Was damaged before I got it, someone went in somewhere that was too low and broke it , good as new now.
( didn't know they would come apart in 5 or 6 pieces)
**** Bought some pieces for crossbars for it, will use 3
*****Then cut some 1"x2" maple runners to use as the floor for the rack, stained them
******claybarred and waxed the KJ
*******Painted and got the " extra" Mudds Rear Bumper ready to mount tomorrow
( then start designing MV-2)

OH,...and helped a neighbor pull the front bumper on his Accord and replace it

think thats all for today......................

yesterday:
oil change
tire rotation
fixed my screw up with the passenger rear parking brake adjuster (installed the star wheel in the wrong direction)

today:
transported myself, kid, and a trunk full of guns & ammo to the shotgun range.
many clays died.
many pumpkins died.
kid shot 25 .410 shells and 50 20ga shells.
came home, parked jeep in garage for a couple hours, came out to garage smelling like an ammo factory. :D
is GLORIOUS!

I reinstalled it with the star more towards the front of the vehicle, rather than the back. I posited I installed it incorrectly last time as I found it next to impossible to reach the star with a tool from the back plate opening. also that wheel seemed to never hold a shoe setting that allowed the parking brake to work properly.

eta: also this blurry picture shows the star forward on the driver's side as well.

According to the time it was posted, was about 9hours shy of picking up a 4cyl liberty with some front end damage for 900... there goes that set of 4.10s....

But otherwise, tidied up the inside, drove her to work and back... ****** fluid change this week or next weekend

Crawled under the front of her. Looked around at all the leaks in and around the front end. Shook my head and went inside.

Basked in the glory that is a new steering rack. And took the Cherokee into the dealer for 4th or 5th time for a CEL, got a Renegade Trailhawk as a loaner.

If it's leaking at least you know there's fluid for whatever is leaking :D

The British to Redneck translation for the original phrase...
If there ain't no oil under 'em, there ain't no oil in 'em!

Hell our MG *STILL* leaks a touch where the oil filter housing mounts up. 44 years and no mechanic has ever been able to solve it.

My XJ has a leak like that. Easier to just top it off once every few weeks and to not park it on the driveway. :D
