I'm just going to start saving my babysitting money and get both diffs done as 4.10s with DTTs soon.

Are you really up to me ( you and me ) working on your Jeep again ? :happy175:
We won't have Bob or Mac this round ! :icon_razz::icon_razz:

I think we'll have to call Bob out of retirement for this. I'd love to get together with you all anyway, even if it were working on someone else's Jeep.

started ordering parts for the switches ideas, mostly the trim panel to mount the switches to.

You must be registered for see images attach

note that it's size adjustable, so I can play with a couple other location ideas.
figure if I don't at least start getting things I'll never get it done.
parts jeep is definitely in my future, as I'm going to want a spare headliner.

Also, anyone ever do an extended handle for the 4x4 lever? wish it wasn't so damn low when i'm plowing, as i'm going in and out of 2/4/LO a lot during the day. be nice to not have to lean over to grab it.

anyone know where to get a 12-way ATM/APM fuse block with distribution?
I can find ATC/ATO ones all day, but not ATM/APM.

Just went out to the garage and was sitting in the KJ and noticed that above the windshield is very reachable for switches , gave me some other ideas for a couple of things. Still need to get my " old fashioned " dimmer switch idea going then on to next thing though. LOL

I remember back in the day when CBs were hung in that general area. Problem with the KJ is the dome light is too far forward to make that work right now. However one bright *snicker* spot of that is I think you could also put some switches on the rear-facing slope of the dome light hump as well. :D

and what's wrong with the occasional brain dump! :D

Got the rear lower control arm recall finally done. Two hours and out the door, just like they promised. It would have been quicker but they spent at least half an hour looking for the parts they ordered over a month ago... :Insane:

Installed my VW ARP studs overnight. Still need to do some measuring, thread chasing, or grinding since one of them bottomed out and sticks up .050" more than the others. Jeep seems to like the new torque wrench I got it for Christmas. Not even a card or thankyou note from the jeep.

You could probably fab something up thats removeable. Im thinking a conduit clamp with some all-thread up through a pipe and throw a fun 8ball or skull shift knob on the end of it. That way when plow season is over you could take it off?
