need tiny hands??

I took the footwell lights out of a junk yard liberty and installed them. I like having the lights at my feet - and more importantly, so does the wife. Installing the drivers side was super easy - no so much for the passenger side. I'm having trouble getting to the plug:

The wire is taped up in this grey channel that I can barely fit my fingers into. The plug is taped to the wires that run thru there and there just isnt enough room to fit a knife and my fat fingers AND know what the hell I'm doing. Anyone know a way to access those - short of tearing apart the whole dash?

Former KJ owner I knew well was a Jeep Dealership Tech
got me 5 gallons of ATF +4 for 8 bucks a gallon ( MOPAR brand of course ) a couple of years back. Figured it would come in handy :happy175:
Mopar ATF+4 here in OZ last time I bought it was $27 a litre

Looks like you should polish the area where the logo was to remove the haze

That's exactly why some of us have complained about the visibility of links on JeepKJ.com. Maybe you can use your powers as an admin to either fix that or convince the boss to do it. It's really annoying.

Just sayin'.

Lots of difference between " owners " of say here and LOSTJEEPs for example
I can get a hold of any of the main owners of LOST in a matter of minutes.
Here , good luck
Differences in a small group of Jeep Owners owning a site and a company

Do any of the mods have access to any of the control panel stuff? This is likely just one little box that needs to be ticked. I've taken to manually underlining links and highlighting them in blue.

Nope when you lift with 948s you have to have bigger ones because stock ones are too small
These are the "drag bag" kit used for older muscle cars and they fit perfectly with the provided red puck
Haven't had to air up/down in a while since getting my car (only drive my Jeep in the winter now usually), but I believe these are set at approx 12-15psi, rated for over 30 I believe
They work great for towing/leveling uneven suspension, also help with not allowing the springs to sag
They raise the rear over an inch when fully aired
Just wish we could put them in the front!

its 30 for sure. really popular on the rams as the rear springs aren't stiff for a truck. That and everybody levels the front and throws a 1 inch spacer in the rear and use the bags to push it back up after it sags.

Sota has a stick. No ATF+4 for that.

I just assumed some people don't bother to read sigs, and as such I just let them go on their tangents. :happy175:

Meh... besides, one posted comment hardly counts as a tangent; the original conversation was about ATF changes anyhow. :icon_razz:

6-spd, that just takes synchromesh fluid anyhow, doesn't it? That stuff is about $8-$9/qt near me. Still not outrageously expensive.

I changed the rear brake pads and rotors and reattached my side awning for a camping trip this week.

Did about 100 highway miles this week back and forth to work. I usually take the back roads at 30-50mph but I'm preparing for a long hunting trip next month with about 5 hours of highway driving. No new leaks, creaks, or anything falling off yet.
