I want to be able to forget my Penn rods are on top of my Jeep when I stumble in the house half drunk from catfishing at 4 am...

I'm glad about two things here. One, I'm not on the road a 4 am. And two, you don't live near me! :friday:

^ Great job! :waytogo:

As for myself, I touched up the Plasti Dip on my crossbars and discovered that the rust on the roof rack was from the four little screws holding the extension in place. Cleaned it up and 'Dipped 'em over good. I also Plasti Dipped the U-Bolts holding the rack to my crossbars. I need to go back and touch up the bolts attaching the crossbars to the roof rails and it will be complete.

I also gave the Jeep the first ever hand wash since I bought it almost two years ago. It's been through the Laser Wash or Pay 'N Spray every few weeks (more frequently during winter salt season) but I had never got down and dirty with a sponge and a hose. I used https://www.eagleone.com/evolution-car-wash for the wash and followed it up with https://www.eagleone.com/evolution-element-shield. I bought a jug of each for $20 total as a package deal and it purports to be good for "Up to 16 Washes". The wash stuff was great. It laid down a nice thick layer of suds in about one minute and rinsed off easily after I had scrubbed everything really good. I'm not too sure about the Element Shield as it left me with a ton of little water spots. They tell you to rinse it off within one minute of application and I think I moved a little too slow. Next time I'm going to suck down a Red Bull before I do it. :icon_lol:

Ordered a new axle bearing and seal for the passenger side. Not sure whats going on but I have a sneaking suspicion the seal failed and trashed the bearing.

Are you doing the HD colling setup? Or...?

I'm flattered you want to mod your Libby based on what I've done to mine. :happy160:

Yep I am doing the HD cooling setup. I pieced together the parts from here and there and this past weekend the radiator started leaking so that gave me an excuse to buy the radiator I needed. I followed what you did on your post. Thanks for sharing that.

Two questions- what size thread are the trans cooler ports in the radiator if you remember and second, how did you know which trans line was the one going to the cooler?

I'm not sure whether this answers your question but on the passenger side of the ******, the line that is higher up on the ****** by the TCC release goes to the cooler and the return is lower one.

Today, I rinsed my trailer and KJ off after a week on the White Rim Trail near Moab. Can't wait to go back!

EDIT: Just saw that uss2defiant answered your question before I got to it. Here's my answer anyway...

I'm pretty sure the fittings are standard 3/8" - I know I didn't have to buy several different sizes to determine which one it was. Grabbed a couple of 3/8" and went to town.

This pic has arrows to both lines but basically the upper line is the "send" to the cooler and the lower is the "return" to the transmission. I ran the Send to the upper port on the radiator, the lower radiator outlet was connected to the external cooler's upper hose, and the outlet from the external cooler was left as-is. So I only cut one line - just inserted the radiator cooler in the middle of that line. Makes more sense in a picture:

Made it reservations to attend the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival on June 12-14...and participate in the attempt to break the Guiness Book of World Records record for the largest Jeep Parade...should be a good time!
