Assuming a shop rate of $80, that's about 4.5 hours labor...not a bad deal actually.

Oh Rats

I discovered that a rat must have gotten under the hood and chewed at my Throttle Position Sensor wiring. Ive been trying to find it on like to purchase with little luck finding the right one. Any one know where to get the sensor connector with pig tail on it? I need one for the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
Thanks for help

Can you just unbolt the steering thing from the wheel well and shove it to the side? That's what I do on mine but maybe that trick doesn't work on RHD.

there are wiring repair kits but if it's just the wire, it'd just solder and heat shrink it up.

Teh REAL No. CA
that's just labor??
Yep, except the freon stuff and hazmat.

Their shop rate is $89.00 per hour. They don't charge for tire rotations, if you have an oil & lube too. The office lady told me that freeby is usually only applied to those who don't bring their own fluids though. But she added, regular customers also are not charged for rotations.

I didn't drive away feeling ripped off, but I did feel pretty poor.

Today I drove my KJ about 60 miles, almost 20 of them in 4WD around a lake I used to fish at more than 50 years ago. It was a nice drive, but a little disappointing that I couldn't find a great sunset photo to make. Thing is, though, ever since I got the Jeep, when I go looking for photos to make in remote areas and come back empty-handed, the disappointment is short-lived because wheelin' my KJ is so damn much fun. :D

Get some engine cleaner and then when the engine is cool, spray it down good. Cover up the alternator, ignition coils (I never did until one time I got a multi cylinder misfire afterwards). I use a pressure washer and I hold the wand back enough to where the engine doesn't get a strong stream. Just a bit more than a mist. The less water you put into the engine, the better. Fire it up and drive it for 10-15 mins to get any remaining water out.

Dragged my ATV trailer to a welder to have it repaired. It made a hell of a lot of noise getting there... and its riding sideways, can see it in one mirror but barely in the other. The welder almost fainted when we saw my axle, and me putting my finger through it (rot everywhere). he needs more time to assess what can be done... so I drove back home with no trailer in tow. :(

Oh... and to add insult to injury, this is my first day of vacation and I have a new (to me) quad - meaning I can't even bring it to the cottage for my week off... damn, now I have to do my wife's crap.
